The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of Onyemuche Nnamani as a member, Police Service Commission.
Presenting the committee report at the plenary chairman of the committee, Senator Jika Dauda Haliru (Bauchi Central), said the nominee passed the screening exercise, adding that, there was no petition against him.
President Muhammad Buhari, had in October 2020, sent the nomination of Chief Nnamani for confirmation.
With no objections to his nomination, the Senate therefore unanimously confirmed the appointment of Chief Nnamani.

Similarly, the senate confirmed the appointment of Saratu Mama Shafii and 6 others as the chairman and members of the federal competition and consumer protection commission tribunal.
President Muhammadu Buhari had on October 19 sought the confirmation for the appointment of the Chairman and Members of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission Tribunal.
