President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded a ministerial nominee Muhazu Jaji Sambo from Taraba State to the senate for confirmation as minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
The president of the senate Ahmad Lawan read President Buhari ‘s letter on the floor of the chamber on Tuesday.
The President says the request is in accordance with session 147, sub session 2, of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.

The president had in September sacked the Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono, and the Power Minister, Saleh Mamman two years after they were inaugurated by the president in 2019.
