Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has formally laid a petition on the floor of the Senate against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of sexual harassment and abuse of office.
The petition, submitted during plenary, adds a new dimension to the ongoing dispute between both lawmakers, following recent tensions in the upper chamber.
The matter has been referred to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Public Petitions for investigation.
