The National President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Etim Okon says, a forty per cent Peculiar Allowance has been secured for civil servants on a consolidated salary structure, after a series of negotiations with the Federal Government.
Etim Okon disclosed this at a briefing in Abuja, to give further clarification to the court victory of the expelled president of the association, Innocent Bola-Audu, who has been facing Human Trafficking allegations brought against him by NAPTIP.

Etim Okon said the association is ready at any time to welcome Innocent Bola-Audu back to the union, but not until the cases he raised at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria are concluded, and he gets a judgement.
The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria is made up of senior public workers in Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
