Governments planning to honour late pro-democracy activist Yinka Odumakin have been told to follow the ideals he stood for to create a better Nigeria
This was the message from some notable Nigerians and activists who spoke with AIT at the Service of Songs and a day of tribute held in Odumakin’s honour in Lagos.

The service was preceded by a walk by different groups around the body of the late Afenifere spokesman to pay their respects.
Yinka Odumakin died on the 3rd of April 2021 from Covid -19 related complications.
His burial comes up on Saturday in his country home in Moro, Osun State.
