An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told ait.live the terrorists in a well coordinated attack burned many houses, One person was burnt in Zaman Dabo village, while the remaining six were killed in Chibob and Sabon Kaura.
According to the eyewitness, the terrorists came in large numbers shooting sporadically and destroying property indiscriminately.
The terrorists also took advantage of the absence of soldiers in the early hours of Wednesday at a checkpoint between Ungwan Wakili and Abuyab to destroy the only bridge that links the communities.
ait.live gathered that the soldiers manning the area normally leave the checkpoint in the early hours of the day to patrol the villages to prevent attacks.
At the time of this report, Kaduna state police public relations officer Mohammed Jalinge said the State command is still waiting for the report of the incident from the Kafanchan Area command.
