The National Council Of Women’s Societies says it will continue the campaign against Sexual And Gender-based Violence, in the country.
The President of the Council Lami Adamu-lau said this during a nationwide protest, in commemoration of this year’s 16 days of activism to end violence against women and girls.
She said the group is demanding the formulation of new laws and the implementation of existing policies, that will completely address the issue of sexual and gender-based violence.
The campaign is coming on day six of the sixteen days of activism against Sexual And Gender-based Violence, which was flagged off by the Federal Government on November 25.
