The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, says the ongoing strike by resident doctors amid the covid pandemic and cholera is not necessary, as it will further overwhelm the health sector and cause hardship for the vulnerable people.
He said this at the 2-day meeting of the Nigeria Health Commissioners’ Forum in Abuja.

The SGF noted that the Nigerian government is doing everything possible to ensure that the health system regains its lost glory.
He, therefore, appealed to the striking doctors to review their stand and return to work, for the sake of the vulnerable members of the public.
