Shettima To Unveil Nasarawa’s Human Capital Development Strategy

NASARAWA

In a bid to improve the welfare and means of livelihoods of residents across the 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State, Vice President Kashim Shettima will on Saturday October 12 unveil the State’s Human Capital Development, HCD, Strategy Document and another gender framework in Lafia, the state capital.

The Director General of the Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Agency, Habiba Balarabe-Suleiman made this known to Journalists in Lafia shortly after the final draft presentation and validation of both documents

At the meeting, Habiba Suleiman emphasised the need for all keyplayers to key into the HCD agency’s agenda so as to accelerate development in the state as well as ensure that all citizens achieve their full potentials

The six thematic areas of the state’s HCD Agency include Health and Nutrition; Education; Labour Force Participation; Youth; Social Development; and Local Government and Community Development.

The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Ibrahim and Daniel Yakubu from the ministry of environment affirmed that the documents would create equal opportunities for all residents of the state.

They noted that the documents seek to invest in people though the six thematic areas of the Human capital development agency in the state
