Not less than ten communities have been attacked by terrorists in Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State
During the attack, ten persons were killed.
The terrorists during the attack abducted a new bride and other unspecified number of persons.
Unspecified number of cattle have been rustled by the bandits who were on hundreds of motorcycles
Some of the affected communities include Egbako,Ndaruka,Ebbo,Ndagbegi,Tshogi,Gogata and Ndakogitu among others
The terrorists abducted a bride at Gbacitagi and set ablaze vehicles and other properties
Some volunteers from the affected communities confronted the terrorists in a fire exchange
Four Vigilante Members and two Locals were killed during the encounter.
AIT gathered that the terrorists were unable to cross river Akare with hundreds of the rustled animals
