Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu has directed commissioners in the state to ensure proper monitoring of projects being executed in their respective ministries.
He gave the directive at the 12th regular state Executive Council meeting.
Governor Aliyu said proper monitoring of ongoing projects by commissioners would ensure that contractors complete the projects within the stipulated period and, by doing so, help achieve his administration’s 9-point agenda.
The governor appealed to them to put in their best in their respective ministries and departments so that set objectives are achieved.
He said his administration remains committed to providing dividends of democracy to all nooks and crannies of the state.
Governor Aliyu also thanked the people of the state for their unflinching support and fervent prayers.
