Soludo Flags Off Adili – Park Road Construction In Nnewi

Construction work on the 1.6kilometer Adili-Park road expected to give expected to boost activities at the building materials market in Nnewi, Anambra State, has officially commenced.

The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo performed the flag-off ceremony, with a promise of completion of the project within contract time.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo is visiting Nnewi community again after an earlier one on August 19 after the senatorial by-election, when he promised to address the area’s road infrastructure deficit.

The Governor returned in fulfilment of the earlier promise, noting that the road construction would be completed in 3-month time.

Accompanied by his deputy, Onyekachi Ibeziem, Governor Soludo took an inspection tour of ongoing drainage works, as well as sections of the open market.

He underscores his social contract with the people of Anambra State, reiterating his determination to fixing major economic and transportation road corridors in the State.

Traders at the building materials market who were visibly impressed with the prospect of having a good road infrastructure, had a solidarity walk for Governor Soludo.

The Governor who is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the Anambra State November 8 governorship election had made stop overs at the Eke-Awka and Eke-Oyibo Markets in Awka South Local Government Area, where he interacted with traders and potential voters on his reelection bid.
