Unconfirmed reports say, some of the abducted Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, have escaped from Boko Haram captivity.
The kidnapped girls are said to have regained freedom, following military’s aerial and ground operations in the Sambisa forest.
276 Chibok schoolgirls were abducted in 2014, out of which, 107 have returned, 82 released after negotiations with Boko Haram, while 122 continue to remain in captivity, until the recent escape from the Sambisa Forest.
Unconfirmed sources say, the girls whose number is yet to be ascertained, are suspected to be with the security operatives for profiling and documentation.

Government officials in Maiduguri, are as of the moment feigning ignorance and saying, they have no details and are yet to ascertain its authenticity.
The military authorities are also yet to speak on the issue.
The over a decade long insurgency has claimed over 40,000 lives and property worth $9.2 billion (about N3.42 trillion) in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States.
