Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has reassured the people of Bokkos LGA of his commitment in facilitating good road network and telecommunication services.
The Governor was speaking during an assessment to ascertain the level of destruction in Hurti community and others affected by the deadly attacks in Bokkos LGA.
Mutfwang described the level of destruction as unacceptable and reassured the people of Hurti community and other affected communities that government will continue to do her best to safeguard lives and property of the people
He reaffirmed that his administration is committed in rebuilding destroyed communities and ensure safe return of all displaced persons to their ancestral homes.
District Head of Manguna, Raymond Alo said some of the perpetrators of the attacks are known members of the communities and should be brought to book, appealing to Governor Mutfwang on the need to rebuild their communities especially as the farming season is fast approaching.
The Governor calls on the people to be united, resilient and vigilant by channeling their energy in protecting their communities and heritage.
