Owo

It was a very sad day in Owo on Friday when the Ondo State government led the Saint Francis Catholic Church and the bereaved families in the burial of victims of the church massacre.

During the mass burial, Arch Bishop of Oyo Diocese of the Catholic Church, Emmanuel Badejo renewed calls for a more robust security architecture in Nigeria to address the growing insecurity in the country.

The archbishop who queried the series of unnecessary killings in Nigeria, renewed the call in Owo, Ondo state during the funeral Mass for victims of St Francis catholic church attack on June five, where he urged the federal government to act fast before the situation degenerates to an uncontrollable level.

One after the other, twenty two bodies out of the over forty victims of the June 5 St. Francis Catholic Church Killing were brought before the congregation.

It was a Funeral mass for victims of the unfortunate attack.

Sorrow, tears, agony rent the air as Families,Loved ones, including Government officials and dignitaries from all walks of life gathered to pay their last respect for the dead.
