The Chairman of the South East Governors Forum and Hope Uzodinma has condemned the attack on security operatives in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State which led to the gruesome murder of innocent military personnel.
The attack is suspected to have been carried out by persons suspectef to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Addressing newsmen in Owerri, the Governor of Imo State who commiserated with the families of those who lost their lives, wants the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to book.
Uzodimma also expressed concern that the atrocious act will no doubt cause setback in the peace process being orchestrated by the Governor of the South East region and the progress already achieved.
Governor Uzodinma further called for all hands to be on deck in the fight against men of the underworld in the Southeast geo – political zone
