With the position of National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP zoned to the South-East, leaders of the party in the zone have picked a consensus candidate ahead of the National Convention.
He is Senator Samuel Anyanwu who will be presented at the National Convention holding on October 30-31 in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The North has also adopted former Senate President, Iyorchia Ayu as its consensus candidate for the position of the Party’s National Chairman.
