Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC from the South East region of Nigeria have met in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma who hosted the high level political meeting says, the APC in the region will not be intimidated by any propaganda or sentiments in choosing the country’s leader in the coming 2023 Presidential elections.

The Governor is urging Party faithful especially, aggrieved members to submit to the supremacy of the Party in order to ensure electoral victory.

He notes that the achievements of the Buhari-led administration in infrastructural development and growth of the economy, are added advantages for the APC as their campaigns will be issue-based rather than sentiments and insults.

Other leaders at the event also corroborated the views expressed by the Governor on the 2023 elections and the chances of the ruling APC.

This is the second time the APC in the South East region of Nigeria is holding a stakeholder’s meeting this year, preparatory for the 2023 general elections in the country.
