The six South-West Governors converged on Ibadan, the Oyo State capital to discuss security of the region and other critical issues affecting their people and Nigeria at large.
Chairman of the Forum and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who read the communique said the entire six states in the South-West have agreed to synergies to secure the region through combined technology. He also said they have agreed that the issue of state police is now.
They commiserated with President Bola Tinubu on recent abductions and banditry in Kebbi, Niger, Kwara and some other parts the country.
They also called on the Federal Government to begin deployment of forest guards to the region.
