A Southeast group, Young Professionals has thrown its weight behind the Presidential bid of former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Atiku Abubakar in 2023.
Addressing journalists in Enugu, the Spokesperson of the group, Miracle Ikechukwu described Atiku as a nationalist who understands Nigeria’s peculiarities and diversities.
The group said its support was also based on Atiku’s track records, proven integrity, honesty and sound character.

According to the group, Atiku has demonstrated remarkable leadership capacity in the manner he had handled several national assignments when he served as Vice President.
The youth group is convinced the former Vice President has all that is required to lead Nigeria out of the current predicaments bedeviling the nation, stressing that it has firmly in its grip young Nigerians in the Southeast democracy.
