Governors of the six states in Nigeria’s South West Geopolitical zone have rallied support for Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The pledge of support comes in the wake of Endsars protests and attendant destruction of public and private properties which the Lagos state government has estimated will require about 3 trillion naira to rebuild.
Chairman of the South West Governors’ forum, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, who was led alongside his colleagues by Governor Sanwo-Olu to inspect destroyed properties, said the magnitude of damage was shocking.

The meeting also brought together all ministers and some other elected political office holders from the south west including former Lagos Governor and current works and housing minister, Babatunde Fashola.
