Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has called for more collaboration among Governors of States in the Southwest region of Nigeria for the overall development of the zone.
Speaking at the commissioning of the 8.2km dualized road project in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Governor Adeleke said the Southwest zone has regained its momentum in terms of developmental projects.

The 8.2 kilometers Agodi Gate, old Ife, Alakia to Adegbayi roads, including the Onipepeye underpass bridge road was constructed by the administration of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
Speaking at the event, Governor Makinde told the jubilant crowd that the project is a true definition of good governance.
His Osun State counterpart, Governor Ademola Adeleke who commissioned the project, commended Governor Makinde’s developmental strides.
ait.live reports that the 8.2 km dualized roads were awarded in October 2022 by the Seyi Makinde led administration and completed in record time.
The event which was attended by former Governors of the Southwest region including; Omololu Oluloyo, Olusegun Mimiko, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, was also graced by the former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, Senator Abiodun Olujimi, among others.
