Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has been conferred with an honorary Professor of Human Resource Management by the Saint Thomas University, England, in conjunction with the Lutheran University France.
The Professorial status which was based on recommendation by a coalition of Christian leaders from the 19 Northern States in Nigeria was predicated on his good human relations, inclusive governance and balanced religious ideology.
The Northern Christians who are in support of good governance say, Yahaya Bello’s style of leadership earned him an honorary Professor of Human Resource Management making him a fellow of the Wesley Synod worldwide.

The award recepient who was represented by his Deputy Edward Onoja said Nigerian leaders have lessons to learn from his style of leadership; stressing that effective utilization of natural resources depended on good human resources.
According to Onoja , Yahaya Bello’s recent interventions in key national crises are clearly outstanding and deserving of awards.
Over the last three months, Yahaya Bello has received various forms of honors from corporate organizations in Nigeria and abroad, with calls on him to contest the 2023 presidential election.
