STF Parades Killers Of Ardo Kamuru, Others

The operation safe haven is now better equipped to deal with cases of isolated killings, kidnappings, and other criminal activities in its general area of Operation.

The special taskforce disclosed this at their Headquarters in Jos while parading arrested suspects of different crimes, including those who kidnapped the Ardo of Kamuru in Southern Kaduna State and later killed him despite receiving ransom.

Another success recorded by the special taskforce deployed to maintain Peace in Plateau, Parts of Bauchi and Southern Kaduna, Operation Safe Haven. Among those paraded was a gang of kidnappers responsible for the kidnapping of Ardo of Kamuru in Kaduna State, Alhaji Saleh Umar. The kidnappers later murdered their victim despite receiving the sum of 2 million Naira as ransom.

Also arrested after a sting operation by men of the STF and operatives of the Department of State Security were a syndicate that specialises in the vandalization of railway tracks.

One of the suspected killers of the Ardo of Kamuru, confessed to have committed the crime.

Others paraded were the killers of a retired Airman in Kaduna and an 18 year old man who killed one Mr. Istifanus in Bokkos local government area. The special task force also used the occasion to thank members of the public for their timely information, which led to the successes recorded.
