The Zamfara State House of Assembly has vowed to push the passage of a bill that will ban hawking and begging during school hours.
The proposed bill will also recommend 30% appointment for women in education sector at all levels in the State.
The Deputy Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Musa Bawa said this during a 3-day review of the proposed bill.
The meeting targeted at building the capacity of members of the State Universal Basic Education committee of Zamfara State House of Assembly has attracted all members and relevant officials in the education.
The Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly Musa Bawa ‘Yankuzo said since the inception of the present administration in Zamfara State, a “State of Emergency” has been declared on the educational sector aimed at reviving the entire sector.
