Organised Labour in Ondo State has urged residents to use the opportunity of the ongoing nationwide strike to participate in the continuous voters registration ahead of the November 16 Governorship election.
State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Victor Olumoko who led other labour leaders to government offices to monitor the level of compliance said the union remains resolute to the directives of the national body.
AIT.live monitored the action around 9 o’clock in the morning and observed that most commercial banks were offering skeletal services with customers gathered in groups outside the premises.
Schools, hospitals, the State and Federal High Courts premises in Akure, the state capital were also under lock and key.
