Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has told about 1,000 Muslim pilgrims of the State heading to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj to strive to be good ambassadors of the State and the country by exhibiting good conducts throughout their stay in the holy land.
Governor Sule admonished the intending pilgrims during a farewell ceremony held on Thursday in Lafia, the State capital.
The Governor therefore cautioned them against drug trafficking, absconding, and any form of misconduct, while emphasizing the need for discipline and devotion during the spiritual exercise.

He assured the Pilgrims that all logistics have been finalized for their seamless airlift which will be done in batches without interruption.
The Governor called on officials of the pilgrims Welfare Board and government delegation to carry out their responsibilities with the fear of God to ensure that the rights and welfare of the pilgrims are protected for a successful Hajj operation.
The 1,000 pilgrims will begin their journey to the Holy land in batches starting from May 9, 2025.
