Hundreds of Zaar Sayawa ethnic groups have staged a Prayer Rally in Tafawa Balewa town to remind the Bauchi state Government of its promise to actualize their chiefdom.
With the theme Be involved and say the truth, the prayer rally which was organized by the Zaar Youth Development Association, also prayed for the success of the coming general Elections in the country, cautioning the Youths against allowing themselves to be used as agents of Violence by politicians.
The Rally begins here at the youth center with both young, old, and children, with solidarity songs for the continued agitation for their chiefdom which they said began a long time ago.

The prayer rally and agitation took them to the mountain known as Pusji (black mountain) which according to them, the town Tafawa Balewa was named after, to pray for their fallen heroes who fought and died for the land while reminding the Bauchi state Government of its Promise for the actualization of the Zaar Chiefdom.

The youths who declared their continued loyalty and support to the government of Bauchi state, said, all they are after is the actualization of the Zaar Chiefdom.
With the renewed agitation coming barely one week before the general Elections, the ethnic group said, despite that, the rally is purely for prayers, there was a need to appeal to the youths to vote for credible Candidates of their choice and shun Violence during and after the election.
The zaar/Sayawa Ethnics are known to be warriors, with the majority of them practicing Christianity as their faith.
They are dominant in two local government areas of Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro in Bauchi state, where the former speaker Yakubu Dogara comes from.
