The National Association of Polytechnic Students of Nigeria has kicked against plans by the Federal Government to remove fuel subsidies.

Speaking on behalf of polytechnic students in Ibadan, Comrade Olalere Adetuji urged the Federal Government to put a stop to the plan, which it described as inhuman and disastrous to the Nigerian students and the citizenry at large.

In another development, the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, South West Zone, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to create capturing centres across their campuses, to enable students to get registered.

The regional leadership of NANS strongly admonished Nigerian students across the region, to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration, and obtain their voter cards.
