President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received in audience members of the National Association of Nigerian Students, led by the President, Usman Umar Barambu at the state house.
This visit comes less than 24 hours after the President signed into Law the student loans Bill into an Act, that will provide easy access to higher education for indigent Nigerians through interest-free loans from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund.
The Federal Government spokesperson, Dele Alake had stated on Monday that the funds will be domiciled in the Ministry of Education.

The student loan bill which takes effect immediately, was sponsored by the Speaker, of the 9th House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and provides for interest-free loans to indigent Nigerian students, passed the third reading at the House, two weeks ago.
Breifing State house correspondents after the meeting, The NANS president said they were in the Villa to thank the President for signing the bill into law and also to made some demands to the president concerning the law.
