His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, has called on Nigerians to eschew all sorts of ethnicity and religious violence for the unity and development of the country.
Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar, the 3rd made the call, during the commissioning of the Ultra-modern Hajj Transit Camp in Bauchi.
The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, commended the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed for executing such projects that will serve both the two major religions, Islam and Christianity.

He called on them to embrace each other for the peace and unity of the country.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed applauded the Sultan for his doggedness in championing the campaign for peace among the various ethno-religious groups in the country.
He said, his administration decided to construct the hajj transit camp to address the accommodation problem facing intending pilgrims during hajj operations.
