Youths in Plateau state have been called upon to shun violence so that they can be more useful to society.
This call was made by Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, when he visited the Internally Displaced Persons Camps in Mangu and Bokkos Local government areas of Plateau state on a peace mission.
In what appears to be a nostalgic visit, the Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, stormed the Internally Displaced Persons Camps in Mangu and Bokkos Local government areas of Plateau, where during his early days as a footballer, frequently visited to engage in the round leather game, but this time, bringing a message of peace and hope to the people.
Musa, hopes to engage the youths in the area through football so that they can put their differences aside and unite for a common cause.
The super Eagles Captain, was applauded for his show of care to those affected by the crises, as they said his visit has rekindled hope in them.
Before his departure, he handed over some gifts, which created so much joy among the children who couldn’t wait to start kicking their ball.
