Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega, 31, has officially joined Al Ittihad Ladies FC in the Saudi Women’s League on a two-year deal after leaving CSKA Moscow in Russia, .
Ordega joins her fellow Nigerian, Ashley Plumptre, in the Middle East in a contract that will see her stay in the club until 2027.

Ordega who has participated in four FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments (2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023) and achieved numerous accolades with the Super Falcons, including victories in the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, will be hoping that her wealth of extensive experience and goal-scoring ability will be a tremendous asset to Al Ittihad Ladies.

Elsewhere 31-year-old Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi joined the Canadian side Ottawa Rapids FC,as she makes her return to football following the birth of her first child.
A four time women’s African cup of nations champion Okobi has played for Nigeria’s national teams at various international levels, from the U-17
to the senior team.
