The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on the Les Bleues of France in an international friendly match on Saturday, 30th November 2024.

The Justin Madugu-led team defeated Algeria in a two-legged friendly in Nigeria last month with the first leg ending 2-0 in Ikenne, while the second leg finished 4-1 in Lagos.
The Bleues will play the game as part of their preparations for the League of Nations, and the 2025 UEFA Euro Women Championship in Switzerland in the summer.
The Falcons will welcome the encounter as part of the process for building a new squad, as well as another test ahead of the 2025 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco next summer.

This is the seventh time in their history that Les Bleues will play in the city of Angers.
The Super Falcons are yet to score in their two encounters with France, the first one ended 1-0 in favour of the Bleues at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
France thrashed Nigeria 8-0 in an international friendly match in 2018, the last meeting between both sides.
Madugu is expected to invite foreign players for the encounter after prosecuting the Algeria friendlies with majorly home-based players with only six foreign based players called up.
