The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs has appealed to the National Association of Resident Doctors, to consider their oath and service to humanity, to call off the industrial action they embarked upon, without prejudice to the legitimate demand of the Association.
In a press release signed by the Director of Administration, Zubairu Usman, the Supreme Council, urged the doctors to consider the challenges of the Covid-19 and the Cholera outbreak in several states of the federation at the moment.

The Council called on the Minister of Labour and Productivity, to reconsider the abandoned negotiation with the union, in the interest of humanity.
It commended the National assembly for its attempt to bring about a solution to the crisis.
