In the appeal filed by Ifeanyi Ararume and Hope Uzodinma challenging the election of Governor Ihedioha of Imo State, both are asking the apex court to set aside the judgement of the lower court and that of the Imo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
The appeal filed by Uche Nwosu was however withdrawn. His counsel, Solomon Umoh told the Court that the withdrawal is sequel to his advice to the appellant having noticed that he is a dual candidate in the election.
The appeal was subsequently dismissed by the Court on the ground that he was fielded by two separate parties.
