Supreme Court Victory : Bauchi Stands Still As Residents Rejoice With Gov Bala Mohammed

Bauchi State Governor has alledge that some forces from the state have connived to dislodge him from his position through the supreme court, but commended the judiciary and president Bola Tunubu for upholding the rule of law in his case.

The Governor disclosed this during the supreme court victory rally held in Bauchi State North East Nigeria .

A Day after his victory at the apex court Abuja over the 18th March Governorship Elections, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed supported by his wife and other government officials landed at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa international airport Bauchi and were welcomed by a mammoth crowd.

Moving into the heart of Bauchi metropolitan city,another unprecedented massive crowd of supporters across gender lines dominated major streets of Bauchi rejoicing with the governor over his victory at the supreme court and the governor said he will continue to be humble but would not tolerate any act of sabotage.

The Jubilation train moved down to Bauchi State Government house where Governor Bala Mohammed addressed the gathering by appreciating the people of Bauchi state for bestowing their trust in his administration.

Governor Bala Mohammed quickly expressed his warm appreciations to the judiciary as the last hope of the common Man, even though he alledged that some forces from the state had earlier connived to dislodge him off his position with lies.

The supreme court had Affirmed governor Bala Mohammed as the duely elected governor of Bauchi state, dismissing the case filed by his challenger, APC Gubernatorial candidate in the Bauchi state Governorship Election Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar Retired for lacking in merit.
