The police in Plateau State have confirmed the killing of a person living with a disability at Daffo, in the Bokkos Local Government Area of the state.
Iliya Mutong was reportedly macheted to death by unknown assailants in front of his house on Tuesday evening.

The attackers who were said to be suspected herdsmen and three in number, targetted Mutong, who was just returning home from his daily activities.
An eyewitness account says the attackers hit him on the head with a heavy stick before using the machete on him.
State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Gabriel Ubah who confirmed the incident to ait.live in a telephone call, said the command is already investigating the incident.
Chairperson of the Plateau State Disability Rights Commission, Kyanan Mizhim, who also confirmed the incident to ait.live, described the killing as unfortunate and said the Commission will do everything possible to unmask those behind the killing and bring them to justice.
