Suspected terrorists reportedly stormed Sabon Gida village in Gusau Local Government of Zamfara State and abducted two female students of the Federal University Gusau.

The incident was have occurred when suspected terrorists invaded the students off campus hostels at Sabon Gida and abducted the students identified as Maryam and Zainab.
Eyewitness accounts said the suspected terrorists came to the area at about 1am carrying sophisticated weapons and shooting sporadically before they whisked away the students to the bush.
