Thousands of people are jubilating across Syria following the ouster of Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad.
This follows the seizure of the capital Damascus on Sunday by Rebels which has seen Al-Assad, who has ruled for the last 25 years, with 13 of it spent fighting à civil war, fleeing the country.
The actual whereabouts of the 59year-old medical doctor who succeeded his father who had ruled since 1971, is unknown with Russia which is his main backer, saying his exit had been negotiated .

The Syrian rebel coalition, as the rebels calls itself, said it is continuing work to complete the transfer of power in Syria to a transitional governing body with full executive powers.
“The great Syrian revolution has moved from the stage of struggle to overthrow the Assad regime to the struggle to build a Syria together that befits the sacrifices of its people,” it added in a statement.
The Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali called for free elections and said that he had been in contact with rebel Commander, Abu Mohammed al-Golani to discuss managing the transitional period.
