The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Taraba State has threatened to seal and take legal action against petrol stations hoarding the Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, in the state.

The decision is as a result of the scarcity of PMS in the state, which has led to the astronomical increase in the cost of commodity.
Petrol in Jalingo now sells between 250 to 300 Naira per litre.
With growing reports of retailers hoarding Premium Motor Spirit making the rounds, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps decided to monitor the operations of fuel stations in Jalingo.
