Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku says his defeat at the senatorial election for Taraba South during the February 25 election was the will of God saying he will not contest the outcome of the election in court.
Governor Darius Ishaku was speaking at a farewell Thanksgiving at the All Saints Anglican Church in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.

Governor Ishaku sought the forgiveness of those he has offended while in office, as was one of the burdens of leadership to sometimes step on toes.
He also acknowledged the guidance of God at critical moments in the course of his administration.
The Taraba State Governor added that he led Taraba State the best way her could, and appreciated the people of Taraba State for their unflinching support.
Governor Ishaku tasked the Taraba people to also extend the support they gave him to the incoming Governor, Col Kefas Agbu (RTD).
