Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, has reduced the number of Ministries in the State from 25 to 21.
The State Government says the reduction is to meet the contemporary needs of the State, cut cost of governance, and to foster development.
The restructuring of the State Government ministries is ahead of political appointments which is eagerly awaited in the State.
The development was announced through a press release from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the State, Gebon Kataps.
The Ministries of Digital Economy and Innovation, Special Duties and Social Services, Rural and Urban Development, as well as Social Justice and Reintegration are some of the newly created Ministries while the nomenclature of the remaining Ministries are modified.

Also, the Governor approved the constitution of a committee to investigate the leadership tussle in the Taraba State PDP.
The Committee is made up of 13 members with Ambassador Idris Waziri as chairman.
