Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has set out to complete more projects started by his predecessor, as he inspects the continuation of construction work at the Mararaba-Baissa-Abong Road Project in Kurmi LGA.
The road project links the State to the largest cocoa producing communities in Kurmi LGA, and also the proposed Mambilla Hydro-electric Power project site.
Governor Kefas inter-faced with the contractor and leaders of the community who decried the spade of insecurity in Bisaula village.
He assured of intervening in the security situation, and payment to the contractor to complete the project.
The Governor assures citizens that available resources will be judiciously used in the completion of projects that will benefit Taraba State people.
Along with other public office holders and appointees in his administration, Governor Kefas also paid an unscheduled visit to the Government Day Primary and Secondary School in Tashan-Nyamu, Ardo-Kola Local Government Area, where he discovered teachers were not punctual to work despite the free education initiative of the State Government.
The Governor also inspected renovation works at the Government Lodge, and the reconstruction work at the General Hospital in Bali Local Government Area.
Most of the structures in the hospital have been in existence for atleast 40 years, and in a dilapidated state before the reconstruction work began.
