In commemoration of teacher’s appreciation Day on May 4, the Registrar Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Professor Ajiboye Olosegun says teachers must embrace modern technology to remain relevant in the profession.
Professor Ajiboye was speaking at a forum put together by the Nigerian Union of Journalists and Education correspondents Association of Nigeria in Abuja.
Teacher’s appreciation day is marked in few countries around the world on May 4 each year, to appreciate little contributions of the teacher to national development.

Other countries only celebrate the international teachers day, which comes up October 5, each year.
