Teachers in Northeast of Nigeria are grateful to Federal Government for providing avenues for training in digital technology and modern techniques in vocational education for students in secondary schools.
The teachers were part of a three-week training sponsored by the federal ministry of education and the world bank in technical education and vocational education under the IDEAS Project.
They called on the federal government and state governments to provide the materials and equipment required for teaching and training the students in modern techniques of vocational education.
It was a truly rewarding time for the teachers as they shared their experiences on the training
Perhaps what is more important remains the impact these teachers will have on the education of students in their various schools
The Gombe state government is keying into the initiative even as the teachers ask the federal government to provide the needed equipment and materials for teaching the students.
It was a rewarding experience for the teachers.
Expectations are high for a more inclusive training and education for the students.
