President, Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Nasir Abubakar says members may be forced to withdraw their services from schools across the country unless state governments meet the safety measures prescribed under the COVID-19 protocols.

Abubakar, while speaking on the intended line of action said with the current reopening of schools for exit classes, a number of teachers and students particularly in the rural areas have contracted COVID-19 because of the partial level of compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
