The NAAT President explains further that the association has written to the Ministry of Labour and Employment on the issue since October, but was yet to receive any response from the ministry.
Nwokoma insists that the 25% of the earned allowances for the non-academic staff should be divided and paid into the individual trade unions account as agreed in the MOU.
While reacting to the deadline set by the Federal Government for civil servants to be vaccinated against Covid 19, Nwokoma advises the Federal Government to withdraw it and stop forcing workers against their conscience and beliefs.
