The Adamawa State Chapter of the Nigerian Youths Council, NYC, is calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently salvage the internal crisis rocking the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority.
The federal agency located in Yola is where the Managing Director, Abubakar Mu’azu, whose tenure elapsed on the 6th of June 2020 but he has reportedly refused to vacate office.
Documents made available to ait.live show that it is exactly 3 weeks since the expiration of his tenure of Mu’azu as the Authority’s Chief Executive and he is supposed to vacate office and handover to the next most senior officer. However as at the time of filing this report, he still occupies the post.

All efforts to speak with the embatttled Managing Director or the Public Relations Officer of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority proved abortive, as persistent calls and series of SMS were not returned or responded to.
