Suspected terrorists have reportedly attacked passersby in front of the Government Secondary School Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria, during the late hours of Thursday.

An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity confirmed the development to AIT News.

He said the suspected terrorists came on motorcycles and wreaked havoc on those they could sight adding that six persons have been confirmed dead, while in the early hours of Friday, five dead bodies were discovered in the general area, and those who sustained injuries have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

He said the security agencies are now evacuating the Kagoro Secondary School students to a secure environment, for fear of impending attack.

It could be recalled that 32 persons have been killed in three communities this week, in Southern Kaduna alone.

Efforts to hear from the Kaduna State Police Command on the development were unsuccessful.
